Welcome to the Electron Microscopy Suite at Open University, located on our Milton Keynes campus. Our state-of-the-art facility is a core unit, proudly supporting the four schools within the STEM faculty:

What we do
- Provide knowledgeable advice to researchers on applying electron microscopy in their field of work.
- Run the preparation laboratory, preparing and supplying necessary equipment and reagents.
- Train students and researchers in techniques of electron microscopy and operation of electron microscopes.
- Perform some or all stages of preparation and analysis of samples by electron microscopy.

We are located in Venables Building ground floor, D wing, door number N0062.
The nearest building entrance from outside is Door E adjacent to the bicycle shed opposite the Sports Pavilion.
